What to Look for in Recovery Shoes

Support

Great recovery shoes support your feet. And to assess support, you can look for a few key features. First, make sure the shoes you’re eyeing offer ample arch support. Then, look for rocker-style soles. Rocker-style soles curve up at the front and back, making it easy to rock from your heels to your toes. This gives you what experts call “smooth heel-to-toe transfer,” reducing muscle stress as you walk. Finally, look for raised heels.
